Sunday Services

Regular Sunday Services are for everyone and anyone who would like to join with us in-person or on-line. All are welcome. All the time. And here, all belong.

Our services have four components: Gathering Us In; Hearing Our Faith Story; Responding with Hope; Leaving to Love and Serve.  We have a Time for All Ages at which the children are invited, should they wish, to come forward and sit with the minister to hear a story. But you know, it really is for everyone. After the story, the children go out for Joyful Noise time.

Our Sacraments

We have two sacraments: Holy Communion and Baptism. A sacrament is the outward sign of the inner grace of God. A sacrament uses the natural world’s bread, juice and water to convey the love of God and the love we have in community with each other.

Celebrating Holy Communion

Throughout the year, there are about twelve times we celebrate Holy Communion together, and that means everyone. Our children return from Joyful Noise so that the whole church family can be together. We practise an open table, that is, all are welcome, including all our children, and all who are visiting. Jesus didn’t ask for membership cards. Neither do we.  Our practice is to come forward as you’re able, take a piece of bread, dip the end into the juice and eat it there returning to your seat by the centre aisle. We have a gluten free bread and separate cup, and we watch for who might be unable to come forward so that we might go to them. This is how we live the inclusivity of God’s kingdom in our celebration of God in Christ’s communion.
